THE ORPHANS FAMILY INITIATIVE

Having verified and certified the status of a young boy / girl child as an orphan, schemes that are similar to those mentioned above, and which are suitable for orphans, will be put in place. In addition however, these children will be rehabilitated and given an opportunity to be adopted by God fearing families who are certified partners of KIWOTAO. These partners will be required to meet certain conditions such as mental and emotional stability, spiritual growth/maturity, financial stability in order to adopt the children. They will also be assessed against defined criteria to determine their ability to care for the orphans. KIWOTAO will follow up regularly on the progress of such children by visiting the families and monitoring the child’s development with the possibility of withdrawing them for a closer follow up if need be. KIWOTAO will have trained social workers or Staff to support in this area.
